Heartsaver® First Aid is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. Students learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including heart attack and stroke, and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, bites and stings, and use of an Epi-pen.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

Certification: Heartsaver® First Aid Certification provided immediately at end of class, upon successful completion of course requirements. Certification is valid for 2 years. This course provides genuine American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® First Aid certification.

Students under age 18

Class participants ages 12-17 must have a release form signed by a parent or guardian in order to participate in any class.

CLICK HERE to download the form, print a copy, sign, and send with student to class.

Parents or guardians bringing students to class may sign the release at the time of class.

No students under age 18 will be allowed to participate in class until we have the form signed.
