FAQs
Q: When will I receive my CPR certification card?
A: CARDS ISSUED ON THE DAY OF CLASS! You will receive your American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification card at the end of your class, upon successful completion of course requirements, including a written exam and a skills check off.
Q: Do I have to pay my course fee prior to class, or can I pay at the time of class?
A: To guarantee your seat in any class, you will need to pay the course fee onine, prior to the class time. You can use credit/debit card, PayPal, or your checking account here on our website.
If you choose to come to BLS/CPR class without reserving a seat, there is a chance that the class is full and you would not be able to attend - only those who have paid the course fees in advance will have seats guaranteed. Additionally, at the time of class, we will only accept payment in CASH.
For ACLS or PALS courses, students are required to register and pay course fees in advance.
Q: Do I have to buy a student manual, or study in advance?
A: Yes, you are required to have a current (2015 version) American Heart Association student manual for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and bring it to class with you. Additionally, a pretest must be completed by the start of any ACLS or PALS course - instructions on how to access the pretest are with the student manual. You should also be familiar with the material in your student manual and study guide by the time of your certification course. . .
