This American Heart Association certified course is required for many healthcare professionals, as well as students in healthcare fields. This certification is often a requirement for professional licensure. Includes CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED instruction, use of a bag-valve-mask device and relief of foreign body airway obstruction. Practical skills are practiced and evaluated, in addition to a written exam. Certification card provided the same day class is completed. This course is for both first time CPR students and renewals.

A printout of the student's pretest score is required to bring to class. Precourse study is encouraged, guidelines and recommendations will be sent to students with their registration confirmation.

Often required for fitness instructors, day care workers, teachers, and more. Includes CPR instruction for adults, children, and infants, as well as use of an AED, and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (choking). This course is for both first time CPR students and renewals. Definitely an essential for anyone caring for children!

Skills check sessions are available for students who have already completed their BLS or ACLS classwork online - students must provide the printed certificate of completion from the American Heart Association's online learning website at the time of the skills check, or a certification card will not be awarded. Complete the online portion at the AHA online learning website: CLICK HERE for the link to take the BLS or ACLS Online, part 1. Time to complete a skills check for BLS: appoximately 20-30 minutes, and the time to complete a skills check ACLS: appoximately 30-45 minutes. When registering for a skills check, choose a date and time from our calendar. If you need to make an appointment for a skills check at a different time, please contact us to make the appointment.

Earn the American Heart Association's Hearsaver First Aid certification. Learn essential first aid techniques and safety precautions, including bandaging, splinting and practice using Epi-pen. Also includes information on burns, insect and animal bites, heart attack, seizure, and stroke. All materials and supplies included in all course fees.
Course fee: $25.00 (no manual required)
Earn either the Basic Life Support (BLS) or Heartsaver AED CPR certification plus the Heartsaver First Aid certification, all American Heart Association certification cards are provided the same day as class, after successful completion of course requirements. Class fees are nonrefundable and must be paid before the start of class time or students will not be allowed to participate and receive certification. Course requirements including a skills exam and a written exam must be passed in order to earn certification. Remediation will be offered to students who are unable to satisfactorily meet these requirements.
